Escoger dónde comer usualmente es un reto, sobre todo si le añadimos a la ecuación que sea un lugar de comida vegana o por lo menos ofrezca dentro de su menú varias opciones que lo sean. Creéme, he estado ahí muchas veces. Pero, ¿qué tal si te digo que ese estrés es cosa del pasado? // Choosing where to eat is usually a challenge, specially if we add to the ecuation it being a vegan restaurant or that at least it has vegan options in its menu. Trust me, I’ve been there many times. But, what if I told you that this stress is a thing of the past?

Here you will find over 40 local restaurants that are either 100% vegan or that they offer very good vegan options to your palate’s delight.

Hay diferentes opciones culinarias: food trucks y restaurantes con comida criolla, mexicana, asiática y todo entre medio - incluyendo postres. Adicionalmente, les comparto varios locales fuera de San Juan que definitivamente valen la pena mencionar, ya que su oferta también es excepcional. // There’s different culinary options: food trucks and restaurants with local, mexican, asian food and everything in between - including deserts. Also, I share a few places outside of San Juan that are definitely worth the mention, as their offer is exceptional as well.

Debo mencionar que muchos de estos sitios son negocios pequeños y el horario no es siempre el ideal para cenar (siempre está el chiste en la comunidad que si les veganos no cenan por la falta de opciones después de cierta hora), adicional a que no están en plataformas de delivery así proveyendo oportunidad a las personas que no tenemos vehículos o no guíamos (por la razón que sea). Pero, entiendo que eso es muy costoso para muchos de estos negocios, así que mi pedido es que si tienes carro por favor apoyes dentro de lo posible estos negocios para que sobrevivan en nombre de las personas que no siempre podemos apoyarles aunque queramos. // I should note that many of these places are small businesses and the hours are not always ideal for dinner (there is always the joke in the community that vegans do not eat dinner due to the lack of options after a certain time), in addition, they are not on delivery platforms thus providing opportunity to people who do not have vehicles or do not drive (for whatever the reason). But, understanding that this is very expensive for many of these businesses, my request is that if you do have a car, please support these businesses as much as possible so that they can survive on behalf of the people who cannot always support them even if we want to.
