No hay nada más importante para el cuidado de nuestra piel que el tener como parte de nuestra rutina los productos esenciales. Estos nos ayudan no sólo a tener la piel lo más saludable posible, si no a protejerla tambíen. Cómo les había contado anteriormente, mientras más naturales los productos mejor ya que evitamos la mayoría de los ingredientes que al final son más perjudiacles. // There is nothing more important for our skin care than having essential products as part of our routine. This helps us not only to have skin that is as healthy as possible, but to protect it as well. As I had mentioned before, the more natural the products the better as we avoid most of the ingredients that in the end are more harmful.
Es por esto que me emociona cuando tengo la oportunidad de probar nuevos productos naturales, como los de Simple Natural Balms. Es cuando mejor mi piel luce, pero sobre todo es una línea de productos que con poco obtienes mucho, mantienendo tu piel consistentemente saludable. No sé ustedes, pero me gusta una rutina corta y to the point, si no me perdiste. Así que me encantó lo fácil que se me hizo el incorporar estos productos en mi rutina. // I don’t know about you, but I like my routine to be short and to the point, if not you lost me. So I loved how easy it was for me to incorporate these products into my routine.
Soothing Face Mask
Primero hablemos de la mascarilla. La Soothing Facemask es ideal para la piel grasa y propensa al acné como la mía. Está compuesta de pólvo de lavanda, barro del Mar Muerto y de barro de caolín. El polvo de lavanda tiene propiedades anti-inflamatorias y antibacteriales, lo cual ayuda con los brotes de acné. Por otro lado, el barro del Mar Muerto, se encarga de nutrir tu piel con magnesio, potasio, cloruro de sodio, calcio e hierro para disminuir el exceso de grasa creado por tu piel para “compenzar”. Finalmente, el barro de caolín, gracias a sus propiedades de absorción, libra tus poros y piel de la grasa en exceso. Yo utilizo la mascarilla por lo menos una vez a la semana. // First let's talk about the mask. The Soothing Facemask is ideal for oily and acne-prone skin like mine. It is made of lavender powder, Dead Sea mud and kaolin clay. The lavender powder has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, which helps with acne breakouts. On the other hand, Dead Sea mud, is responsible for nourishing your skin with magnesium, potassium, sodium chloride, calcium and iron to reduce the oil excess created by your skin to “make up” for it. Finally, the kaolin clay, thanks to its absorption properties, rids your pores and skin of oil excess. I use the mask at least once a week.
2. Facial Toner
El toner, compuesto de hamamelis (witch hazel) y aloe vera, ayuda a minimizar la apariencia de tus poros mientras los mantiene limpios, y mantiene tu piel hidratada y protegida. Adicionalmente, contiene antioxidantes que ayudan a mantener la piel saludable y libre de manchas, arrugas, pérdida de elasticidad y pigmentación irregular. ¿Mi parte favortita? Lo refrescante que se siente en la piel. // The toner, made of witch hazel and aloe vera, helps minimize the appearance of pores while keeping them clean, and keeps your skin hydrated and protected. Additionally, it contains antioxidants that help keep skin healthy and free of blemishes, wrinkles, loss of elasticity and irregular pigmentation. My favorite part? How refreshing it feels on the skin.
3. Lip Balm
El bálsamo labial de coco orgánico es divino. Es suave y cremoso pero no en exceso, y es de larga duración. Es perfecto para mantener los labios hidratados y evitar que se resequen y partan. Lo que noté en la descripción del shop en Etsy, es que contiene cera de abeja (beeswax), lo cual es un ingrediente natural pero no vegano. La etiqueta no lo indicaba así que no lo noté hasta después de probarlo. Pero, para los que no son veganos, es una buena opción. // The organic coconut lip balm is divine. It is soft and creamy but not in excess, and it‘s long lasting. It is perfect to keep the lips hydrated and prevent them from becoming chapped and drying out. What I noticed in the shop description on Etsy, is that it contains beeswax, which is a natural but non-vegan ingredient. The label did not indicate it so I didn’t notice it until after I tried it. But, for those who are not vegan, it is a good option.
4. Lip Scrub
El lip scrub también es un producto divinamente formulado.
