Beauty Favorites: October Top 5
Hace un tiempo que no comparto mis favoritos de belleza con ustedes, así que aprovecho la oportunidad para compartirles los que más he usado este mes que me han gustado y he incorporado a mi estilo de vida. // It's been some time since I've shared my beauty favorites with you, so I will take the opportunity now to share with you the ones I've used the most this month that I have liked and have incorporated into my lifestyle.
Lumee iPhone Cover/ Colorina Matte MS Lipgloss in Mocha & Wine / Nyx Liquid Suede Lipstick in Kitten Heels / Sephora Collection Sparkle & Shine Skinny Brush Set / Sephora Collection Matte Metallic Eyeshadow Palette
Como expliqué en mi post anterior, cuando asistí al demo de Sephora de Uncomplicated Halloween, tuve la gran suerte de ganarme un VIP goodie bag que incluía este set de brochas. Lo único que les puedo decir es que es uno de los mejores regalos que he recibido ya que como soy bastante newbie en el maquillaje y no tenía un set formal. I know! 😱 Son súper hermosas y perfectas para newbies como yo. // As I explained on my previous post, when I was at the Sephora demo for Uncomplicated Halloween, I was lucky enough to win a VIP goodie bag that included this brush set. The only thing I can tell you is that it's one of the best gifts that I have recieved since I am a beauty newbie and I did not have a formal brush set. I know! 😱 They are very beautiful and perfect for newbies like me.
La misma historia aplica para esta paleta de sombras. Aunque si tengo otras paletas de sombras con metálicos y matte, no tenía ninguna con Rose Gold. Adicionalmente, como pudieron ver en ese mismo post, es excelente para cualquier tipo de maquillaje - desde sencillo hasta elaborado. // The same story goes for this eyeshadow palette. Although I do have other palettes with metallics and matte, none had Rose Gold. Additionally, as you could see on that same post, it is excellent for any type of makeup - from simple to elaborate.
El Liquid Suede de NYX ha sido mi favorito por algún tiempo ya. Me encanta que a pesar de que sea matte se aplica y mantiene relativamente cremoso. Usualmente es fácil de aplicar y no requiero un lip liner para que quede bien. Lo uso casi todos los días y definitivamente es mi go-to para labios rojos. // The Liquid Sude from NYX has been my favorite for a while now. I love it because although it matte it goes on and stays relatively creamy. Usually it is easy to apply and does not require a lip liner to look good. I use it almost everyday and it is definitely my go-to for red lips.
Anteriormente había leído/oído sobre Colorina Cosmetics, pero no había tenido la oportunidad de probarlos. Para empezar me encanta el precio, bien accesible. Adicionalmente, pigmenta muy bien aunque no es exactamente como se ve en el tubo, pero es bastante parecido y los colores quedan bien. Eso sí, aunque apliquen cremosos secan bien matte, lo que significa que debes aplicar un lip balm antes del lipgloss para que no te reseque los labios. // I had read/heard about Colorina Cosmetics before, but I had not had the chance to try them. To start, I love the price, very accessible. Additionally, it pigments very well although it is not exactly as it looks in the tube, but it is very close and the colors look nice on. Now, although the go on as creamy they dry very matte, which means that you need to apply lip balm before the lipgloss so your lips don't dry up.
Finalmente, pero no menos importante, el case para iPhone de LuMee. Si, el mismo que utiliza Kim K para sus amazing selfies. El algo costoso para un cover, pero no es un simple cover ya que los resultados de tus selfies serán básicamente como un filtro de Snapchat sin tener que tener la corona de flores incluidas en el paquete, así que en mi libro vale cada centavo. 😉 // Finally, but not least important, the LuMee iPhone case. Yes, the same one Kim K uses for her amazinf selfies. It is a little steep for a cover, but it is not simply a cover since the results of your selfies will basically be like the Snapchat filter but without the flower crwon package, so in my book it is worth every penny. 😉
